From a design reference to an approved sample

Turn a visual direction into clear material, measurement and construction requirements for sample review.

Separate inspiration from a physical product

A reference image communicates silhouette, colour and detail direction. It does not establish an existing product. Material, measurements and construction should be assessed through actual samples.

Document the requirements

Record intended use, fit preferences, measurement charts, material options, colour references, trims and packaging. Mark undecided items for confirmation rather than treating illustrations as measured data.

Review samples systematically

Record appearance, measurements, hand feel and construction feedback separately. Retain revisions and written approval notes. Production and delivery conditions should follow the agreed sample and confirmed specifications.
